All,

Thanks for the information.

Once I will have a GO, I certainly post more questions.

I live in West Plano. There is a very large Jewish church near where I live, Anshai Torah. This area also has best school, shoppings and restaurants of all kinds.

North Dallas. Most Jews I knew in Dallas lived between 75/635/ Dallas North Tollway/Northwest Highway.

There is a large synagogue at Hillcrest/Northwest Highway as well.

Not all Jewish people are Israeli and not all Israelis are Jewish (though the vast majority are).

Please don't confuse the two.

Also, the Jewish people in that area (this includes my own family) are overwhelmingly Ashkenazi and most are pretty well-heeled to boot. Not all Israelis would fit that mold, nor would some of them even want to.

I was referring to Jewish people in Texas, not Israelis. I grew up in Dallas (HP) and there were a fair amount of Jewish people there as well, maybe 5%. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a lot for a city in Texas.

I grew up here too, and I'm Jewish. I know what we're like, where we're from, and where we live.

OP never mentioned being Jewish, just Israeli. While most Israelis are Jewish, there are many Christian Israelis and Muslim Israelis, and I'm sure some agnostic/atheist Israelis, too.

Indeed. Most of the Israelis I know do not go to services regularly and if they do join a temple, they only do it after they have kids. I don't know any frum Israelis; there are a few around, probably...I just don't personally know any.

Most Israelis I know are pretty secular. I don't know if the OP is or not, but he may just want to be around people of his own nationality, not necessarily Jewish people of any nationality.

I didn't know what you were getting at, and now I see the disconnect. My misunderstanding. My personal experience here in Israel has been exclusively with Jewish people, and I've come to view these two identities are inseparable and interchangeable. I don't know where most Israeli's live in Dallas. Carry on.
