We were doing so well with our little garden....until this morning. The puppy snuck outside while I went to water and I didn't realize she was out there for about 30 minutes. As a result, our veggie garden was be destroyed.

Does anyone know of any other places around Dallas that sell already growing vegetables (peppers, spices, tomatoes, etc.) besides Lowes and Home Depot? I think I've seen a few at Farmers Market as well.

Grocery stores sell them too, and most garden centers. Try Calloways.

You live in Dallas right? There is a Calloways on Greenville & Walnut Hill, and I think some independent garden stores as well. And Bruce Miller Nursery in Richardson is a 10 minutue drive north of there.

Try North Haven Gardens over on Northaven Rd (75 and Royal). They're a local business and they have a really good selection of organically grown vegetables and organic seeds as well.

Redenta's on Skillman at Oram has a more local feel - if that's what you are looking for.

Ditto that. I recall years ago buying a bunch of different colored and varieties of peppers already started. It was later in the season, though, and I got them on sale. It's a bit early for peppers to have formed, although the greenery should be there. Northaven has all that. Herbs, peppers, seeds, etc. I live west of there, so I get there by going east on NW Hwy, left on Hillcrest, then right on Northaven. It's a residential area, but then, boom, there's Northaven on the right. A fantastic place!
