Hi folks,

I am considering a move to Dallas and am trying to identify the nicest luxury apartment buildings in the city. My budget is not particularly limited (within reason of course). The uptown and downtown areas have been recommended specifically and I have identified a few buildings that seem to be quite nice:

Glasshouse
1900 McKinney
Ashton
Cirque
Taylor
Mercantile Place
Heights at Park Lane

Does anyone have any experience with any of these buildings? Are there any others you would recommend?

Any guidance would be sincerely appreciated.

This is a great building, most of the residents own their condos, but there are a few for rent. Across the street is the DART station, amenties are top notch, Katy trail is down the street... 15 minute walk in any direction to restaurants plus one on site.

I have a friend who lives in The Ashton. It is luxurious, very service-oriented and quiet. The residents are older for uptown. I have met people there aged approximately 35-60.

I just relocated a month ago and moved in 3700M and love it. Brand new in the Uptown West Village area.

I wouldn't call Mercantile Place a luxury option. The sister tower next door (Element) is a better option but there's a sketchy vibe around that entire area so I'd focus more toward the Victory/Harwood/Turtle Creek corridor.

Just fyi OP, these are purchased condos that you would have to lease from an individual owner.

I work in the Mercantile Building and yes, the Element seems like a nice place to live. It would also work out great if the OP had a dog because the dog park is right next door. I see a lot of dog owners around this area when coming and leaving from work because of the proximity of the dog park and letting them out to use the restroom

If you're interested in living downtown. I would highly recommend One Dallas Center located at the St Paul Dart stop. I have heard great things. The upper 15 floors of the building were renovated into apartments and there is a lobby bar for residents downstairs. The M-Line trolley will start operating on Monday and will have a stop right in front of the parking garage at Federal and Harwood. You can take it to Klyde Warren Park, West Village and Uptown for free.
