What shall I do ? Pest control or any kind of animal protection organization?

I was throwing a bag of paper into my recycling bin and when I came back to the door of utility room I found it on my way on the right side along the wall. My heart stopped for a second and then I quickly ran into the utility room. I took my iPhone and opened the utility room door trying to take a picture from distance then I realized it was NOT THERE!

OMG, where could it be? I feel unsafe the whole house. I would not sit down on the chair more than 3 minutes and would jump off to check it was not behind me!!!

What if it goes to my kitchen or even worse bedroom? Does that mean the garden is no longer a safe place for my son as well?

Any idea people!

We had a racer snake (non poisonous) in the garage on Sunday as well. It ended up in the back area of the refrigerator where we couldn't access it and as such had to call animal control to come to try and remove it. After 45 mins or so they arrived but after much searching it was gone. In your case as you obviously despise snakes I would just call them out and they will make a thorough search of your garage and ask them too around your house. Be warned they are not cheap but for your piece of mind it will be worth it.

Step 1. Get out your garden hoe.

Step 2. Rummage around garage and find snake with garden hoe.

Step 3. Chop off snakes head with hoe.

Step 4. Leave headless snake in garage as a warning to others.

They'll usually hide or leave. If you call animal or pest control and they can't find it, they'll just leave a bunch of super sticky traps at the garage entrance and other entry points in case it does come back and the snake will get trapped w that.

If it is a racer, best to just try to get it out of the house. For instance, the black coachwhip (racer) can grow to about 9 or 10 feet long. It is very shy and will race away from you when it can. But if cornered (like when you are about to cut its head off with a hoe), it can and will strike at you. And it will aim for your face, which it can easily reach. But not to worry - it's not poisonous.

Nature's creatures sure do seem to be thriving after all that rain.

Dallas seems to have a problem with furry, four-legged, long tailed critters as well.

OP: There is the name of an animal control provider in this article.

You can also call 911 Wildlife, they're not free but I've used them before and been very satisfied.

911 Wildlife | Humane Animal Removal Houston | Animal Relocation

The link says Houston but they have a Dallas location too.
