Hi guys! I'm thinking of possibly moving to the Dallas area in a year or two, maybe in the Plano area. I was wondering what the job market is like in the Dallas/Plano/Fort Worth area. Has grown or shrunk and what are the key areas often hired for.

Thanks

I'm a novelist, so it would be great if it was related to writing of some sort. But I'm also involved in marketing and sales.

Marketing and sales are tough areas. Marketing covers a wide range of jobs and there are always a lot of candidates for every marketing job that get posted. The same would likely go for sales. There are opportunities in both areas, but fierce competition.
