Better, worse. More urban? The same?

I feel like it has potential to really rival the big 3(NYC, LA and Chicago) but at the same time it has its own atmosphere and flavor. I think Oakcliff will continue to improve over the next decade as well as areas in pleasant grove. Certain suburbs may get worse(Balch Springs, Mesquite) and the North Dallas area may not become worse as well.

More crowded, congested, polluted, and with an ever-increasing COL.

More people, more traffic, more expensive, less water.

I saw DFW as growing yet less urban thank god. We don't waste the's in Texas ,it's DFW not the DFW.

The transportation situation needs to change now at the rate DFW is growing.

It already does. Dallas is an alpha rated global city in the heart of America's most economically dynamic region, and the metroplex as a whole will probably catch and pass Chicagoland in population within the next 25 to 30 years should current migration patterns continue.

Recently I met 4 or 5 guys who came from California for shopping new home in Frisco.

Till now we heard often traffic jam only on Dallas North tollway, these days 121 traffic moving slow in peak hours

Chicago is forecast to be the next Detroit by some, so I would hope we pass it. We need more distribution of jobs around the metroplex as well as ongoing road construction to keep up and we have more road expansion here than most cities..
