Hello, I love to study the history of Dallas, and Oak Cliff I was wondering in the 1950's and early 1960's what was on the North East Corner of Ledbetter, and Lancaster rd. On the historic areal view it looks like military barracks or apartments...Can anyone help me out?

You would probably have great luck on an Oak Cliff Facebook Group. I think it's called Oak Cliff Boomers or similar. They have very similar discussions and many people can actually dig up pictures.

Those were apartments on that corner. A small portion of those units were destroyed by a tornado in the late 80's. The were razed to the ground in the early 90's.
