I just moved to Dallas and are looking for a house to buy? Is Vista Ridge Estates in Lewisville safe area. I am a little concerned to buy a house by the apartment complex (across the street). How are the schools? Rockbrook Elementary, Durham Middle School, Lewisville High School? If anyone can comment, would be great. Buying a house in Dallas is not easy...every single house that I like is pending

The area is nice enough, but that portion of LISD is eh. Not awful, not great. If your kids are elementary age, you may be eligible for open enrollment in Coppell ISD, but I'm not sure if that neighborhood has that option.
