I could see my next door neighbor's roof shingles blowing up & one came off & blew down the street. I feel like I am in the Wizard of Oz.
Gosh, this type of wind usually does not blow off shingles unless they were not put on good or it already had damage. Patio furniture - pulled it out of the pool many a time. Found it blown across the yard upside down. NEVER, NEVER, I repeat NEVER LEAVE YOUR PATIO UMBRELLA UP EVER!!!! Only put it up when in use. It will act like a parachute and lift that whole table up and over with enough force to break the table.

part of our fence blew down, our neighbors tree ripped in half, my garbage is now all taped together (not the day for a big trash p/u!) Found the grill cover 3 houses down and...the neighbors trampoline is upsidedown!

We just got power back on in Keller, it went out at about 11:30am.

The wind gusts have died down here too.

Geez I thought it calmed down but 2 board just blew off the fence, granted it is a 10-year-old fence, but still. Oh well DH can fix it.

I think this weekend will be a big repair the fence weekend all over!!

I was just talking with my neighbor (who we share said fence with) and found out the last year the entire fence around our house and thiers fell. The owners of our house were the only ones who refused to go in 1/2 and replace it. Figures they were cheap on everything! We knew the one support was loose and tried to have them fix it after the inspection but they wouldn't do a dang thing!!

so it looks like it may new fence time this spring.

This particular house we're renting so I know it's because it's an 8-year-old fence that looks to me never been repaired.

Okay, Surf, I've been wondering since yesterday how you found your fence when you got home. So, is it still standing or did you have to go collect pieces of it down the alley?

How did MO survive, does anyone know? Da Jammer, did we send the "right stuff" to ya?

And, for everyone else out there... hope all is well at your homes! 'Tis so sad about the ones loosing their homes to fires... prayers and blessings being sent your way!

Was some strange weather... even for Dallas! One thing is certain... weather here is NEVER BORING!

The fence of my house blew down in 40 mph winds within a couple months of moving in. I'd known I was going to have to replace it, but I didn't know how quickly!!!
