Hello,

I'm planning to move by middle or end of next month from Tampa, FL to Las Colinas / nearby area due to new job (near TX-161, Irving, TX 75039)

I've no idea about that area so planning to visit Irving area by next weekend to look for apartments (hoping no flooding during that time!)

I've my own car so commute (to work) is not a problem for me at this time.

I would like to get members suggestions on identifying livable (safe) area near my work location (TX-161, Irving, TX 75039)

Any further suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What's your budget? That's going to be the biggest determination.

Just about all of the apartments in the Las Colinas area will be just fine. It's a great area, and there are a lot of apartments to choose from.

I'm looking between 800-1000 (max) that range for a 1 bed room apartment. I'm looking into apartments near Las Colinas area, but prices are bit high... I also heard about Valley Ranch, but not sure anything about that area... I mean my main priority is goes to Safety, Grocery Shops etc.

Any advice here...? Thanks!!!

Valley Ranch is just north of 635 from Las Colinas. It's fine, too.
