Another vote for North Arlington. It's probably my favorite area of the burbs. That or Cedar Hill.

Check out the Las Colinas/North Irving area as well. Close to both airports. The Valley Ranch area will be within your budget.

There are higher density developments in the suburbs G hat might meet your needs. Plano legacy, Richardson near the new State Farm development or grapevine downtown etc are some to consider. They are cool suburban locations that 'DT' has nothing with having on but higher prices and greater density. Don't let others impact your vision.
