I wouldn't worry about it. At 5 weeks old, you're swaddling them at night on top of their onesie so that's plenty warm. It's when they get a bit older and they can no longer be swaddled and are also old enough to pull off their pajamas that you need it to be a bit warmer, just in case.

As MckinneyOwnr stated, you can dress the baby dependent on temps.
My kids were/are hot natured. Even as babies they would unswaddle themselves. We have to constantly check the upstairs thermostat or they would have it permanently stuck on 60 or lower, even in the winter. Oh, and their ceiling fans on high. Had to get onto the college kid that she has to consider the roommates may not be as hot blooded and may not care to pay for a very high electric bill.

Just wait Soon you will be the one wanting it set higher and she will be the one complaining that 65 is too high.

If you need your thermostat above 72 you should really see a doctor because you probably have circulation issues.

I was reading CoServ's most recent magazine came in mail few days ago. As per their recommendation, 68 is the right temperature to set in your house normally. This is to save on energy bill the max without effecting your health. They also suggests to avoid changing temperature more than 2 degrees at night or while you are out for work and that is to avoid overheating your furnace by running it for a long time continuously to adjust the new higher temperature when you are awake.
