can anyone give info on this area any suggestions on which community to live in, also how are the rates on property taxes and homeowner ins ( high or low.

Couple of things....I definitely think this is the next boom town beyond Frisco/Mckinney. However, you will probably have to wait 10 years before it is fully developed.

Personally, I think others have already figured this out and the home prices have been adjusted accordingly.

It's really too expensive there for being so far out. The commute from there would be pretty bad (although the Tollway will make it there eventually). But for retirement, this place would be at the top of my list.
