Those are NOT TEXAS BARBECUE. We are in Texas. 'Nuff said.

The best Texas barbecue is located in central Texas, but you can still get some pretty good 'cue in DFW and Houston areas.

I tried Kansas City barbecue, in KC, and it was nasty. It was sauced with a spicy sauce. Could not taste the meat at all.

Carolinas bbq is all pork, not beef. South Carolina bqq with mustard based sauce; North Carolina bbq with pepper/vinegar sauce. Very regional and both very good bbq. Looking forward to tasting good Texas bbq after we move to Dallas this summer.

CountyLine Austin has some good ole orange barbecue sauce there, agree, but not best. The best are in Oakland, CA and just outside Reno, Nev. and cities mentioned before.

The one in Virginia, Nev.: has fatty and juice pork ribs that come easily off the bones that is cooked just right. It has a simple sweet, sweet and delicious barbecue sauce that is soooo tasty. The potato salad is warm with thick chunk of eggs in it as they lightly blend it but very soft and refined. Great large garlic bread is served!!!! That's a good, good pit!!!!

Downtown Dallas is mediocre despite improvements in the Art District, thanks to Perot. The Main St. still not done and is still deserted even though nearly 8 thousand people live in the innerloop area.

Good barbecue doesn't need sauce. You are judging sauces, not meat. Sauces can cover up bad meat, where is the skill in that? It is apparent that you don't know 'cue. Probably put beans in your chili too.
Texas barbecue is about the beef. Pork and sausage and chicken are just extras.

I'm sorry but while the best Texas BBQ is not in Dallas or Houston. Those cities are eons better than New York, Chicago, and Nevada.
