Crazy. I hear of alot of shootings that happen in Carrollton.
I always thought the northern suburbs were the nicest and safest ones. I thought Carrolton was like on the same level as Addison

I haven't either. I've heard gunshots, though. That sound really travels.

Parts of Carrollton can be a bit less well off, although I do believe it is generally considered a nice city in the rare "city" rankings that include municipalities of such small population. Northern and Western Carrollton, particularly in Denton County, tends to be a little better off, though, than the south.

If you live in an area in which it's not a question of "have you witnessed a shooting" but instead "how many have you witnessed," then perhaps a relocation may be beneficial.

There was a shooting at a big apartment complex I lived in on Frankford & Midway 10ish years ago. I didn't hear the shooting, but did see the police helicopter flying around spotlighting the complex. Never seen anything worse than that.

Been here all 50 years.

I've only seen one shooting.

My DH fired the shotgun and killed the 5' water moccasin in our backyard on the patio.

Lived in Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Denton, North Dallas, Rowlett & now Garland 20 years.
