Howdy Dallas CD'ers,

Relocating from San Antonio this summer and beginning the search for a place to live. Many more options than SA (which is a great thing) and finishes are eons better than even the best rentals in the Alamo City.

Any advice on what's new, interesting and luxe for lease? Uptown, Highland Park, Downtown, Bishop Arts or even Deep Ellum (as long as it's a larger loft). I'm working with an agent, but I also love knowing what City Data has to say.

Appreciate the help!

Are you looking fir high rise or single family house? Uptown and downtown for high rises. Park cities for single family.

What price range do you consider luxe?

I'd take a high rise, loft or townhome. Not incredibly picky on that, but do know I don't want to deal with a yard or a ton of home-based maintenance

My price range is upwards of $7k a month

High rises in uptown or townhomes newr knox street would be my choice. Check out 11 Turtle Creek Bend...it backs to Turtle Creek and looks cool (YMMV) and walkable to west village and knox restaurants and shops.

That's exactly what popped into my head. Those are so nice on the outside, and having the convenience of walking right around the corner to Whole Foods is pretty awesome.

I second those town homes. If I had that kind of money, I would move there like yesterday.
