Hello Everyone.

My girlfriend and I will moving to the Dallas area for jobs.
She will be working at the Southlake Town Square and my job location is depending on transfer availability.
I was wondering if you can recommend any great apartments or towns for 1200-1500 range (based off my transfer not going through) I noticed Southlake is a very nice area with mostly homes and little apartments.

- safety is biggest concern since we won't know anyone
- willing to commute up to 30 mins with traffic

Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated

Thank you everyone for your time.
Sean

I am from Orange County. I live in Las Colinas right on Lake Carolyn. It is a great area. Check it out. I have lived here for 3+ years, and there are a ton of new apartments.

I don't have much to add, but I have to ask.

How in God's name is it possible to live in San Diego for 1500 per month? The only places I could find out there that cheap was living in somebody's garage.

Good luck in Texas

I'd suggest the mid-cities such as Hurst, Euless and Bedford. You can rent a pretty nice house in very safe areas for around $1400 or so in many neighborhoods. If you stick close to 121, the commute wouldn't be bad at all.

Southlake has NO apartments at all.

Hurst will likely be pushing it to stay within 30 minutes in traffic. Stay north of 183 to be in a safer area in either Bedford or Euless. There are nice apartments along 121 at Glade Rd. Also look along Hwy 26 for places that would be an easy commute.

Definitely look in Grapevine, though avoid any apartments on or near Mustang Drive. The Grapevine Station apartments at Texan Trail and Ruth Wall are brand new loft style, and would be an easy commute to STS on side streets.

Good morning everyone,

Is anyone familiar with the Stoneledge Apartments on Boyd Dr in Grapevine? It seems to be near the airport which can mean rough neighborhoods (at least here in SD) Any information would be great
