All RISD schools have a swim team. There are two coaches for Lake Highlands/Berkner and RHS/Pearce. Berkner and Pearce both have pools on their campus. Students from RHS and LHHS are bussed to and from the pools.

Wow. Great List.

Thank you all, and Thank you, City Data.

If anyone is tracking along, from when we were on the South Side of things, I recall Duncanville put in one right next to its High School.

Grand Prairie had a set-up that was somehow tied in between their community park system and the school(s) next door. It was open part-time for the community, and my kids took swim lessons there, and then at times I think it was dedicated / used for the schools.

Lancaster had a Very Nice set up --- about like a big Holidome (do those still exist? ), with an indoor pool/room broken up into several sections, including a wade-in and small slide area for kids. Do not recall if it had big enough lap areas for High School.

Next part of this question and details -- do you all happen to know the typical sizes of the Pools or Portions of Pool/Natty/or whatever they call them(?) for the High School use? I guess either 25 meter (half) or 50 meter (full) are the standard lengths? And typically how many lanes wide? Do they typically include Diving Area(s)?

I will start putting the list(s) together with the info you have all provided, and if you know (just personal knowledge or experience is fine), what is the Good, the Bad, or the Ugly of any of these locations on the growing list(s)? Not anything critical in a Bad way, but things that somehow matter and stick out in your mind so I can look at making sort of a "Best Practices."

Just in case this all seems odd (it probably is if I am involved ), I am looking at sponsoring, in part, a local pool or sort of water park in our NE Suburb, and want to make it useful and helpful for the largest amount of people, and being a Research Engineer type . . . things always start with collecting data . . . or in this case, City Data.

Thanks, again.

The following are all the schools which compete in swimming in the UIL (public and charter schools, plus Jesuit), SPC (expensive private schools), and TAPPS (less expensive private schools).

Not all schools with swim teams have a pool on campus. For instance, the DISD schools share around 7 pools between them. WT White and Hillcrest both practice at Loos Natatorium in North Dallas, as does Jesuit Prep and Ursuline Academy. All four CFBISD pools practice at the CFBISD Natatorium at Standridge Stadium, and Trinity Christian Academy does as well. Bishop Lynch practices outdoors at the Knights of Columbus pool.

Yeah, that last line is exactly what this post from 2016 did. You just listed the more expensive areas.

This looks like ChatGPT. Why would you keep manually typing "has a swim and dive program with pool access"?

According to a friend of mine whose daughter was offered college diving scholarships at D1 schools, the best DFW diving teams are private. She dove for her high school and it just wasn't as competitive and the training wasn't very good. It really depends on how serious your kid is about diving.

Mansfield ISD has a swimming and diving team for all high schools and certain middle schools.
They practice at the school districts natatorium which has an indoor Olympic size pool and two diving boards. Got to check it out a way back when I was a lifeguard and did training there. From what I remember they also use it for tournaments and different training programs.
