(1) Eat some good Texmex and/or Texas BBQ. If you're 21+, have a margarita.

(2) Go to the State Fair (if it's going while you're in town). If it's not, then head to Klyde Warren Park walk in any direction and you'll find something.

(3) Go to Northpark Center

If they are fans of the tv show "Dallas" they could visit South Fork Ranch in Parker.

Good Barbecue.

NorthPark is good but I also like some of our museums ~ The Perot, Dallas Heritage Village, and The Nasher.

1. Eat some good barbecue or Tex-Mex.
2. Have a margarita on a patio or poolside, preferably in the sun.
3. Talk to some locals and find out how we are different from and similar to the people where you come from.

1. The food. That is what keeps me living here. BBQ and Tex-Mex. It is the best.

2. Check out Reunion tower. Not everyone is a fan, but it is pretty neat to see the sprawl of DFW.

3. See a rodeo or the state fair. Because Texas.
