Hi,

A friend moved to Frisco recently and was looking for recommendations of good Internet Providers?

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Thanks!

He is going to be limited to the 1-2 options with AT&T, TWC, Frontier, Grande that are in his specific location. I prefer AT&T over TWC, so that would be my recommendation.

We use Grande Communications at my office in Frisco. There have been 2 times that I can count over the past year where we have had issues connecting. Not sure if it was them or another condition. Also, speeds have been slower than what I am used to at my house, where I have AT&T.

I have AT&T Uverse. It's my only choice for high speed Internet (45 mbps down). It's decent in speed and reliable. Their customer service is abysmal, but I rarely have to use it. Hopefully within the next 1-2 years most of us will have fiber to our homes.

It all depends on your neighborhood. No FIOS in Frisco. AT&T, Grande, and Time Warner are the ones I know of.
