I want to restore the lawn by laying seed and not sod. I've been watching a lot if vids but they don't have ntx lawns.

How should I do this and when can I expect to see results?

From what I've seen online, it's:

1. Aerate
2. Add composte for the area
3. Add seed
? Add topsoil (not too sure where topsoil fits)

What's the best product to buy? What order do I do this in and when should I see results?

Sod is your best bet as Bermuda seed is so expensive. Will require a lot of watering and time. You can buy Sod by the pallet for around $300 delivered. Good luck.
