I am moving to Dallas from the DC area and I know I had to have my paperwork in for my daughter in February to get in for the fall. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good Christian preschool. I really need one with a 3 1/2 and 4 year old program. A 3 year old program would be fine too. I think we will be renting at first to figure out what neighborhood to buy in. But we are thinking about staying near forest hills(?)Lakewood...like I said we have alot to figure out but I don't mind driving 20 minutes or so to get to school. I know I need to find a place now!! Maybe that is how we will choose where to rent!!!! hahaha Any suggestions would help. My husband's office will be in Richarson, but he has said we probably won't be living there.

There are two great pre-schools in Little Forest Hills/Casa Linda: The Learning Tree and The Children's Center. Also a few churches in that immediate area that would surely have preschools and/or mother's day out programs.

Wilshire Baptist Church has a very good preschool and mother's day out. It's on Abrams, a little north of Mockingbird Lane.

Default Preschools- check out Northaven Cooperative Preschool

Hello-

We just toured a bunch of preschools on our last visit to Dallas. We are relocating this summer from Arizona.

Our favorite school was Northaven Cooperative Preschool. WOW! What a wonderful little school for young children! (Location I believe is considered North Dallas). I too was willing to drive for a top quality program. We just received a call over the weekend that our daughter was accepted into the program for next year (Register now! )

The director has a Ph.D in early childhood and I believe sits on the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) committee to review early childhood programs. They also offer Friday art for 4/5 year olds. The art teacher has a masters in art and seemed wonderful too!

Good Luck!

P.S. We were interested in Episcopal schools too but the strong early childhood background/experience of a school was more important to us.
