Yes, prayers and thanks, today and always.

I've never been more proud to be a Dallasite than today, seeing the huge interfaith gathering at Thanksgiving Square to people lined up to hug police officers downtown to the tremendous support for these officers families' and the entire DPD. On one of the darkest mornings in our city's history, the city came together as one.

Also, I commend the absolutely amazing job Chief Brown and Mayor Rawlings have done as the face of our city to the world. Outside NYC, I can't think of another city with such a composed and well-spoken team of city leaders during a time of crisis.

That was moving and very touching. Dallas should be proud.

TD Jakes closed the ceremony. Man, that guys powerful. I'd love to hear him preach.

I concur regarding Brown and especially Rawlings. Quality leadership and communication in a very difficult situation.

I think we saw true heroism last night with all of the police officers that ran towards the shooting. Astounding courage!

We pray for the families and praise the dallas police last night for heroic action in the face of a monster. We have your backs and wont elect an anti cop candidate. We will support your families in tragic times like this. Words can not express our gratitude adequately.
