They mean Greenville the city, not Greenville Ave in Dallas. However, I agree that Nora is a good restaurant.

Drove thru Greenville today coming back from Hot Springs, Ark. Seems like lot of development going on there in gville. Also saw Princeton looks like a busy place too, maybe take a look there.

Too bad we're not talking princeton in NJ, out of this world scenic suburbia with plano level schools.

But the princeton HS football stadium in TX was Incredible!! Almost turned around to go back and take a picture. But then i realized there is probably another incredible HS football stadium in the next town over too. LOL

Princeton's stadium is excellent, especially for a "smaller school" (4A, largest is 6A). It's even better on the inside. The next town over (McKinney) has plans to build a $multimillion stadium that rivals Allen's, which is the next town over to the south, so you're on point with that assumption!

I think Greenville or any of the other cities mentioned around there would be better options than Dallas.
That way commute is short, but you are not far from the big city.
I think it would be about the same as one of the smaller cities in Netherlands for you -transportation.

You're not all that far from the big city, so if you need an Ikea, or a museum, or a symphony you have access, but don't have to deal with all the big city problems on a daily basis, like traffic.

You can always look at all 3 cities when you get here and make a decision.

Welcome back.

Best options is Rockwall and Heath. Rockwall has a great community called Chandlers Landing, it's a gated resort like community on the Lake, its beautiful. Heath is beautiful well lots of great homes. Stay close to 30 so you can hop to Lower Greenville (street in Dallas, not the town) for drinks and dining.

Rockwall is very nice. Much better than living in Greenville because its right on the lake and close to the city.

Greenville Parks & Recreation Department (City) can best answer that. This is their WEB site with contacts.
