I was driving today on my typicaly route and I get passed Frankford road, driving south on Coit. Right before the train tracks, a bus honked at me and I look in my rearview and it was stopped. I have driven that road for 2 year at the same time and never seen a bus stop.

Chances that bus had a stop cam on it?

Pretty good odds - If it was an RISD bus, they are provided by Dallas County Schools and have the cameras.

I couldn't imagine it being RISD. I looked at PISD map and that's exactly where it was.

I think you are right, the ISD line is just south of those railroad tracks - I don't think Plano buses have those cameras.

the real question is, why didn't you see the bus?

I'm hoping. I couldn't believe it. I mean next time I'll be aware and I feel like a moron but that ticked me off.

Was it stopped with the red lights flashing and the "stop" sign extended, or was it stopped at the train tracks because of the train tracks?

I saw the bus. Like I said, I've driven the same road at the same time for two years and never had a bus stop on Coit on my route. I guess it was just an error in judgement that there would be a bus stop on a 6 lane road next to a railroad track.

Wasn't at a train track.

It was in right hand lane. Can't recall. The bus driver laid on horn as I went by in the furthest lane.

What I think happen is I went by as the sign was coming out but not fully out.

Well you have better start watching out anytime your around a school bus regardless. I hate school zones and try to avoid them but its serious business to pass a bus with its lights on. People are not going to have sympathy for you.
