Hey Everyone,

I will be relocating to Frisco, TX for a job, and I'm trying to figure out a decent living situation that is affordable and that will allow me to have some fun. I'm open to living in the surrounding towns of Frisco if they are better options.

I'm a 25 year-old, single guy, and looking to spend in the ball park of $800/month on rent. I appreciate the help!

I'm pretty sure you can get a decent apartment in Frisco for $800.
I'm twice your age, so I can't vouch for the fun-factor, but there are lots of restaurants and the Dr Pepper Arena, etc.
For night life, Addison and Dallas are just down the tollway.
Traffic can be a bummer here, so live as close as you can to where you work. Frisco is a nice area.

$800 is too low if you plan to live alone. I just did a quick search on a large apartment search website and only a few Frisco complexes have studios under $900. The median price point for a 1 bedroom looks to be closer to $1000/mo.

Thanks guys. By any chance, would either of you know how much the toll cost if I were to commute from Addison to Frisco?

$4-7/day round trip, depending on the exact DNT exits in Addison and Frisco.

You might look off the tollway in Plano. Bentley Place at Parker & the tollway has one bedrooms on their website at 860/month. I believe most places will sometimes even quote lower I feel you walk in if they are running specials. I agree 800 even is low, but 800-900 should be doable in Plano, or definitely in the colony.
