Meh. Texas is just as pro football crazy as college if not more. Especially Dallas.

Outside of Texas, the cowboys pull fans. In the D/FW area...the cowboys don't mean much. Same with the Mavs, Rangers and Stars. D/FW is full of bandwagon fans. Don't believe me? Name me one team that sells to 90%+ capacity even the the team isn't doing well?

As far as this bill is concerned...just more ignorance and a needless law to appease old, ignorant folks. (transgender people have been around for decades, it's not a new thing)

First, any crime committed in a bathroom is already a crime.

Second, show me one story...one offense...one arrest where someone dressed up and pretended to be of the opposite gender and then committed a crime.

I'm pretty sure there are more "anti-everything, Christian" white, republican men that have been busted in restrooms "toe tapping" in the history of this country then any offense the so called bathroom bill is going to solve.

Something tells me Abbott is protesting just a bit too much...

It would be interesting to see which DFW city it would go to if they decided to come back and do everything in one city. Espn is hell bent on staying in downtown FW.

The Mavs and Cowboys.

Here are the Mavs so far this season.

2016-2017 NBA Attendance - National Basketball Association - ESPN

The vast majority of this current decade, Dallas was ranked number in the top 5. To say in the DFW area, the Cowboys don't mean much, is way over the top. The Cowboys are easily the number 1 team in that market.

I never knew the Mavs drew so well. And they were among the worst teams in the league earlier this season after a long stretch of being a quality team, but have clawed their way back. Wonder if that's why Cuban wants to move out of the AAC - it seems to be on the large side for a basketball arena. Basketball really is a product that is at its most profitable when seating capacity is slightly more limited, especially if the team is not doing well.

The Mavs do that with mirrors. They give away tickets and still call it a sellout.

That's how all sports teams do it. They count tickets sold, not people in the seats.

That stat is VERY misleading, LOL. If you go to the AAC or even watch on tv, Mavs' games are pretty empty these days. Dallas is definitely a bandwagon sports town. Even when the cowboys were losing it was pretty common to see visiting teams' fans (ie Chicago, San Francisco, etc) out number Cowboys fans at Jerry World.

Trump and his supporters have "dumbed down" America enough. That bill is about political grandstanding...nothing more, nothing less.
