I'll be moving to Frisco soon and I have been looking at the houses in the area, trying to stay close to Headquarters drive. The 2 houses I am considering now, one of them in the Vistas at WaterStone and the other one in Quail Meadow village. Anyone has any feedback in terms or good or better between one or the other area. I have 2 kids, one going into elementary and other into middle school. So schools and nearby kids activities are my number 1 preference. Thanks for all your feedback in advance.

Waterstone is Frisco ISD, right? I know it gets a little sketchy in terms of which ISD you are in once you cross over 423. For me, I would choose the Quail Meadow Village house just because it's closer to what most of Frisco has to offer. There's really not that much on the west side of 423. All of Frisco is family-friendly, though.

Thanks for your feedback.
My next choice is between Christie Ranch and Panther Creek estates
Any feedback on those?
Also, can anyone share some feedback on the newer schools like Trent Middle school? They show as not rated on most sites.

We are also moving to Frisco & i am gathering info from various sources about the city. I can tell you what i know :
Christie ranch does not have any amenities (no park,no pool ) so if thats what your preference is , u will have to rethink.
Panther Creek estates is really nice,if you are from India you will like it ,lots of Indians ,there is park, pool etc but again the assigned elementary (Sem Elementary) has around 40% asians,so if thats too much for you then rethink !!

I have several friends who got rezoned to Trent and all of them LOVE it. The principal is supposed to be fantastic there.

I second that on Trent. The principal is very involved and enthusiastic, and my child has had some of his best teachers ever at Trent. It has a ethnically diverse student body; as well as a diverse staff. (important to us) I will say however that the homework load was very high, to the point where we had to eliminate his one extracurricular activity (language lessons) due to the amount of homework and papers he had every night and weekends. (8th grade especially; advanced courses). We like the Panther Creek/NW Frisco area a lot.
