Good day!

What parts of the western (including NW and SW) Dallas suburbs would you recommend for empty nest couple (schools don't matter) looking for relatively safe neighborhoods and reasonable commute to Las Colinas (less than 45 minutes in rush hour)?

Thank you!

If you don't need schools, consider Las Colinas itself.

What's your budget?
House or apartment?
Las Colinas itself would be great. It's a very nice area, and your commute would just be a few minutes.

There's the answer. Drive around the La Villita area and take a look.

Again, what is your price?

What's your price range?

La Villita, Valley Ranch, Coppell....are starters....

Want a house, a yard, a condo, how big or small?
Any activities you do?

How far a commute is acceptable?

Thanks to all for your replies!

Looking to buy/rent a house with decent sized yard (with a fence or right to add one). I've got a few small dogs.

Buy price range up to $350 to $400k. Rent up to $2000-2500 per month.

Routine commute up to 45 minutes (at peak traffic) is acceptable.

Thanks again!

Definitely look in Las Colinas and Valley Ranch! Your price range will be perfect for the area!

If you insist on living further away, Grapevine, Euless and Coppell would be good.
