Anybody knows what;s happening with Dough on Parker and Parkwood. I thought they were going to open long time ago. Last time I went by, there was a sign about liquor license application.

Personally, what I'm most looking forward to is not in Legacy West.. although close.

I'm sure you guys are all familiar with Whiskey Cake, 60 Vines, etc.

Those folks are finally going to open a seafood themed place and I bet it will be freaking fantastic. They are under construction right next to Mexican Sugar at the shops. Should open this summer from what I heard. Drinks are supposed to be "tiki bar" focused, so another win.

If I recall correctly, they are going to have some traditional BBQ/Texas themed restaurant at Legacy West though too.

Rise's first restaurant was (and is) in Dallas, in Inwood Village. As far as I know, all Rise locations are in Texas.

New-to-Texas restaurant rolls biscuits and doughnuts into Allen - CultureMap Dallas

North Carolina breakfast place. Not the soufflé place.

When? I was just at "the pig" a couple weeks ago. It was always busy at lunch. Google still shows it's open and their website is still up. I might have to go there today.

Ok, that's great news then, apologies for my posting. I called them multiple times on a recent weekend night, with no response, which never happened before. I didn't really assume anything initially, but then my wife said she saw a sign (it could have been on one of the adjacent places) driving by on Custer, so we were quick to assume..

P.S. In my defense, in two previous cases of not answering the phone - JS Chen and Coconut Cafe indeed closed down, much to my regret.
