Serious question, how big is your house? Is it really, really energy efficient? The lowest my bill has ever been when neither the A/C nor heater has been running was about $69. So that's just operating the fridge, TV, lights, etc.

It was on since march when it got over 80 degrees. I couldn't take the energy and toll bills and just had to leave the state. The climate was not for me.

So did you get to Oregon? I hope you like it.

It hasn't been much better temperature wise here in NC. We've been running our AC on and off since early April. Partly we have to have AC though because my son has allergies and open windows makes them worse.

It was 94 here today according to our thermometer. (Although this past weekend was lovely and cool).

Unfortunately yes. Soon there will be no fresh air. I am happy for cool nights right now. I have really LOVED this mild winter! Most of this time my backdoor and window have been open almost all the time. Which is greatness to me!

I'm pretty sure I had to turn it on at least once in February. I don't even keep it that cool, 75-78 typically.

We're not even close to hitting 100s yet. Unless you're a thick-blooded transplant who hasn't had a chance to acclimatize, I have no idea why you'd need the AC running for anything other than humidity control this time of year. "Mid 80s" is comfy spring weather in North Texas.

Mid 80s is ok outside maybe.....not in the house! My AC has been running for about a month now...it's kept at 72 in the summer and in winter the thermostat is kept at 65. I like it cool.
