If it were up to me, I would choose for Dallas to get a Bloomingdales. Since Houston has the flagship Sak's (and one of the best in the country at that), Dallas getting a Bloomingdales would add something to Texas.

We've shopped at that store for years and haven't had any issues. I'm curious what you've experienced?

I really, really hope they put a Central up here somewhere. I occasionally make the trek to the Plano one but I'd shop there more if they were closer. I'd be willing to drive to Prosper for one

BTW, the article also mentions DFW will be getting the Mi Tienda stores as well. There are currently 2 in Houston.

The rumor is they're projecting to open 5 of these stores in DFW.

I thought those already existed there. I’m not a fan of Mi Tienda

For now, DFW only has Central Market.

Apparently, Mi Tienda's been a huge hit in Houston.

They only have the two. With Houston's very large Hispanic population, especially of Mexican ancestry, I would think they would have opened more if they were that successful financially.

Does DFW have Joe V's? Honestly HEB seemed to go that direction in heavily Hispanic areas rather than Mi Tienda.

La Michoacana is king these days.

I just remembered Tom Ford is also from Houston/Austin. But his brand was completely built in New York unlike Johnny Dang that was born and raised here and resembles the culture here.
