Hi - We just purchased a home in the Twin Creeks area of Allen. Which cable providers service this area (not interested in satellite)? Any providers that are better than others?

I tried the search function but information of this subject looked out-of-date.

Thanks!

I live in Plano, but I this is what I found by "googling":

https://www.cabletv.com/tx/allen

It looks like Spectrum (Charter) . . .

Thanks.

Looks like Spectrum and ATT are the two providers.

Anybody have experience with either in terms of service, technology, etc.?

They're both scummy but Spectrum is less so and more willing to 'play ball' (e.g. negotiate) when you defer to retention. That's my plan every year to obtain discounts without disconnection and it's allowed me to maintain digital cable, 100Mbps Internet (true to rating), two TVs plus my own TiVo for $107/mo.

You're going to pay through the nose to get anything better than 14Mbps from ATT UVerse and I have no idea why, given their product is FTTN/FTTC.
