Being that I' am still fairly new to the area, I have no idea which radio stations to listen to while I' am driving in the area for weather updates (i.e. Winter Weather Warnings, Tornado Warnings, Flood Warnings, ect.) and accident reports.

Despite all of the Ice on the roads today, I did venture out a little since I had to mail something very important at the post office, but I had no idea which radio station to listen to. So if any of you know, please let me know and I will program those stations into my radio for quick access. Thank You!

1080 AM is the best. Traffic updates every 10 minutes on the :08 all day.

Agree with 1080, though I do miss Brad Barton.

Hey thanks you guys! Got it programmed into my radio, although I won't be using it today or tommorrow b/c of all of this crazy ice that is still on the roads. That little 4 mile round trip to the post office yesterday was like something out of a science fiction novel. Took me almost 45 minutes! So I don't know about anyone else, but I won't be hitting the roads until at least Friday (assuming school is closed tomorrow).

In today's age of syndication and voice-tracking, there aren't many stations in the metroplex that are worth a crap because quite frankly, the odds of a real, live person being anywhere near the studio are next-to-nil.

WBAP and KRLD are probably your best bets. Cheap Channel's cluster would be the worst bet. Outside of morning drive most of their stations are memorex and the person in the studio (if there is one) is nothing more than a minimum-wage button monkey.
