It's not a Southlake exclusive though I agree that towns with one high school have undivided school spirit but sometimes having three high schools makes it even more interesting. Unless they are competing against each other, they are very supportive of each other.
Well aware of that. Some PTOs do a little more than others. For example unlike other PTOs across DFW ours sponsors a ton of field trips. Those are not usually sponsored by PTO. Like I said unless you live here you don't get it.

OP - Make sure to visit Southlake Town Square, BoB Jones Park, BiCentennial Park (the playground specifically if you have young ones), Dragon Stadium, the Lacrosse fields, and the Southlake Aquatic Center when you visit to get a feel of some of the offerings. Pretty amazing.

You may also want to check out Dove Waterpark in Grapevine which is pretty close.

I wish I knew what to check out in Coppell, but I am just not as familiar with that area.

I'm temporarily locking this thread for now. It will be reopened after review.

Moderator Note: After removing posts and issuing warnings, this thread is once again opened for new replies as promised.

If problems arise once again, please REPORT the post rather than engaging in pointless back-and-forth discussions that in all likelihood will have to be deleted by a moderator. These posts aren't helpful to the OP and are a waste of your time as a poster and ours as moderators. Thanks.

The Core/Andy Brown Park System
Old Coppell Main Street
Cozby Library and Community Commons--the YMCA is right next door and worth checking out if you will be looking for a place to work out

Those 3 areas are the big ones to get a feel for Coppell

Admittedly I was one of the shoppers choosing between Coppell vs Southlake, but ended up buying one in FM Lakeside.

Just my curiosity - it seems like Southlake houses appreciate better than Coppell especially after COVID hit. Any thoughts on the reasons?
