No idea what those buy-ups are (only you agents can tell you), but the standard insurance policies already have what you need unless you are wealthy needing personal umbrella legal liability coverage.

Shop big names first, state farm, farmers, nationwide, allstate, progressive, usaa ... then shop lesser knowns american family ...

Yours seems high
Yea. I was going to avoid specifics but my coverage is very similar to yours except we have a $5MM umbrella policy too and live in Dallas County with a $13,000 deductible. My bill was $3,950ish.

Not sure about the ultimate endorsement, but the personal catastrophe endorsement is another name for an umbrella policy. If you have any significant assets outside your home and retirement accounts, it is a smart/cheap coverage to take.

Yes I realized that after looking, the Umbrella is cheap enough ($10-20) a month so I am fine with that.
The ultimate endorsement is because I have some electronics and my SLR camera. So I added that for theft. But Those are now couple of years old (7-8 years) so i can probably dropped that policy.

I send a quote to Nationwide and state farm, as well as the person that Angie sent me.
