It's a bad start to a day when before you can leave for work you have to shovel more than a foot of snow from a long driveway, then chisel off 1/2 inch of ice that totally encases the entire car. Then, of course, you have to drive through the snow.


Much easier to stroll out, get in the car, and turn on the A/C.
I've lived in Poland and Germany, I feel your pain...dealing with snow/ice kind of sucks when you're in a hurry or running late!

Coming from very desirable other parts of the country, after moving here the one thing I really like is that I can always find parking when going out to dinner or anywhere else. It's generally not as crowded as other places I have lived. And people, at least the natives, are really nice. Those are the upsides for me. Now if only there were some mountains...
