6.5 years in this one ... uncertain about the future!

Definitely couldn't afford to move into the same neighborhood now, where we bought in 2011. But we need more space. So either we go to a less desirable neighborhood, or add on, or...

In any case, we feel very fortunate to "own" an appreciating asset, though it is still the mortgage company at this point that really owns it.

Expect 15 more...thats when both kids are out.

This is my first house purchase, but it was not a starter home. I hated the moving up in homes idea bc I hate moving and I hate the idea of forking $$ over to REA.

So we waited and bought the house we really wanted right off the bat.

I'm working on year 22 and I see the light at the end of the tunnel. This was my first house and since the purchase I have gone thru a divorce and have a son who is a senor in college. It's a starter house but it still has more room that I would ever need. I'm looking forward to retiring early and enjoying my latter years.
