Truth. Didn't he buy a house in DC as well? If he chooses the northeast, he only has to divide himself between two regions -- there and the Pacific Northwest. If he chooses a city like Dallas, Atlanta or Denver, he'll have to spread himself among three regions (or at least be actively concerned with three, even if he ends up not spending much actual time in that third location). Why put up with all the hassle if he and Amazon can get all they want with just two regions?

Having said all that, I'd love for DFW to get it just to hear the collective thud of all the coastal (and Austin)
hipster jaws dropping as they hit the floor. And, if DFW did get it, it would be great if it were in the city of Dallas.

It'd almost be worth Richardson (the stuffy grandma suburb) getting it over Dallas just to see Austin AND Dallas hipster jaws hit the floor.

Every list I saw only listed Dallas not DFW. I don't think FW made the cut.

God I hope not. If Richardson gets it then home prices, traffic are going to skyrocket in Wylie where I live. Craps bad enough now. Big reason why I don’t envy West Plano getting Toyota and the others. Keep all the traffic nightmares over there.

We all were, but State Farm traffic is north and east of me and work is south and west, so....no, I'm not impacted by traffic...just skyrocketing property tax rates.
