Possibly it's the power lines. Maybe also a non-obvious easement associated with them? I mention this because we have a lovely large property in our area that has been for sale for almost 5 years. Apparently there is an unused, not obvious, not even visible utility easement that runs through the property about 2/3's of the way back from the street. Because of the easement (which the city/county will not relinquish) that portion of the property is unavailable for development (house, pool, pool-house, rear entry garage, etc). The realtors have chosen not to disclose this on the public listings, people come and look, and then walk away when they learn about it.

That Easement would be shown on the existing Survey. There are a lot of Buyers who would not care about that Easement and not be installing a pool or structure. There are plenty of older homes with that type of easement across a backyard.

There are bigger issues if it has not sold in 5 years.

The Realtors are not hiding anything.
