You can buy basic knobs off Amazon pretty cheaply. If you decide to splurge and want to take them, better buy extra now, though.

Honestly, unless they were insanely expensive and unique, I'd just leave them

^^^ This. Same goes for light fixtures, doorknobs, etc. Just change them out before listing and you're good to go.

If you want to take them with you, remove them before you put it on the market, or replace them before you put them on the market....or buy duplicates now so you can leave them there, but take your nice design with you.

You wouldn't want to buy a car and when it is delivered it is missing the seats?

If you plan on replacing before selling, go with knobs and not pulls. The screw spacing on pulls can vary depending upon manufacturer and style.

Yes, you could theoretically swap them out before listing. But the odds of a new house having the exact same number of cabinets and drawers is pretty low, not to mention that it's likely to be different styles and colors. Just buy something for this house, knowing it will stay behind and worry about your next house when you have a next house to worry about.
