Hey Everyone,
I was hoping I could get some help in figuring out what to do in Dallas. I actually live in another state, but I'm seeing someone who lives in Dallas. I want to surprise her by planning a nice day out and about. I wanted to make the day very romantic and fun. Can anyone recommend things to do or places to go? I was researching and I saw the Dallas Arboretum, which looks very nice, but is it too early in the season? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

It is never too early to visit the Arboretum. Right now they are in Dallas Blooms and the tulips should be showing in full force. The only "bad time" to visit the Arboretum is in a pouring rain. A nice picnic lunch there would be a good start to the day and finish up w/ dinner at a very nice restaurant of which there are plenty of in Dallas. If she is into the symphony or arts you can see if the Meyerson will be having a performance or what exhibit is at the Dallas Museum of Art that day. With spring there starts a whole slew of area festivals and such. For instance Richardson has the Wildflower Festival while Addison has the Taste of Addison both with great concerts.

For an idea of what restaurant to take her to being she is here in Dallas you can ask her what ones she has always wanted to experience and then you can make reservations for one of them.
