I just moved to East Dallas (Junius Heights) from Denton and am having a heck of a time finding a 24-hour grocer. Can anyone suggest one convenient for an East Dallas resident?

Because of my work, I end up doing a lot of my shopping in the wee hours. In Denton, I think MOST of the grocery stores are open 24 hours. I'm sure there are plenty in Dallas--I just have yet to stumble upon one.

I'd also like to avoid Wal-Mart, but will go there if anything else is too far.

Thank you very much.

Hmm. When I drove by there last night, I was sure I saw a sign saying that the store closed at 1 AM. Maybe I'm mistaken, though. I'll check it out again. Thanks.

Most stores in Dallas used to be open 24 hours. The increased risk of robbery, and lack of people willing to work overnight made many stores go to the 6am-midnight, or 6am to 1am route.

There is a Tom Thumb on Greenville and Lovers that is 24 hours.
