I also think people in this thread are weirdly way too invested in what the OP makes. He just asked for suggestions on where to live, not for C-D to debate his perceived success. Las Colinas has a lot of young single people, but it's kind of dead nightlife wise. You can, however, live in Uptown and get to work in under 30 minutes without ever touching a freeway.

Salary is almost always commensurate with experience and 21 year old college grads have no experience and will usually be taking entry level jobs (like "Analyst I" or "Coordinator" or "Specialist").

I am not saying it doesn't happen when the right conditions are met, but to call it "common" is ludicrous.
