They conveniently fail to ignore the fact that success is a combination of good facilities, student itself, family/school/social environment, priorities, financial situation etc. etc. etc. and a lot more - not just one factor say Plano ISD.

Just because someone enrolls in plano ISD - is not a ticket to guaranteed success. And almost all of the surrounding districts provides good facilities/education and it's each individual student/family effort that plays a part in success. Plano may have more numbers because - it is one of the largest cities in the area almost 290K population and in that West Plano is affluent, asian culture (bookish knowledge and extreme focus on competitions - be it spelling bee or math olympiads etc. etc.), schools well established long time ago unlike new schools in Frisco etc. are some of the factors. You can figure this out (recent surge in numbers) by comparing recent years numbers with say one or two decades ago numbers when it used to be a few, not like it is today.

If it is solely Plano or any other ISD's greatness without anything else, then why only few or small % of these figures? 100% should be getting it from Plano ISD.
I don't engage when people start using rhetorical tactics and straw person fallacy. You and Kyam can enjoy your tag team tactics.

IMO the PISD gets the credit because of their curriculum and also different tests they conduct for kids prepares them for SAT/ACT. The first time when I saw NWEA MAP tests for Kindergartner, I was truly suprised. Based on that scores and other COGAT scores the kids will be placed in Gifted programs. The kids who can answer a 2nd or 3rd grade math or reading question gets higher map score and will be placed in GT programs. This makes both kids and parents to push or try advanced levels. This continues till 8th grade. Same MAP test scores are used to place them in Math Rocks, an advanced math program. Middle scool semester end exams arenanother tests that again makes the kid to review all the concepts they learned. This builds confidence as well as stress on kids. However, they are well prepared for the standardized tests and college. That is one of the reasons why many PISD kids get state recognition and grand recognition in DUKE TIP.

These tests are the major thing that is missing in Frisco,Allen and Prosper. Other than that PR/KD/Elite is availble to every one.
