We have to attend a pot luck and bring Creme Brûlée. My spouse isn't going to be able to make it and I don't want to experiment so please post link if you know of any restaurant where they can make it for 12 people. I'm not sure if grocery stores carry it.

I think that Central Market has some in their bakery department.

Maggiano’s has mini creme brûlées on their catering menu. Also, I’ve also seen individual servings in the bakery at the Central Market in Plano.

Quite a potluck! Let's hope that the others aren't required only to bring tuna casserole or those green beans with canned fried onions.

Boulangerie and Village Baking Company (same company, different locations, to die for)

I picked some from Eatzi's during my lunch break, ate one and they are delicious. I do hope there is no tuna or green beans on the menu tonight. For future reference, does any of the places mentioned here offer a big dish instead of individual miniature ones?

Personally, I find the notion of a large dish of creme brulee somewhat off-putting...Not sure that it would bake up all that well anyway. As an alternative, you might look around for flan. Perhaps La Duni (McKinney Ave) could do this? Another "potluck" friendly item that is very tasty are the Bundtinis at NothingBundtCakes. Order in advance online, though.
