Yes. Very true a few storms in April but very slow compared to the rounds of severe weather which normally accompany spring. Very odd year. especially after the brutally cold winter in which the snow missed us every time. I'm still upset Austin, Houston and New Orleans saw snow twice!

Yep and that’s VERY unusual to have no tornado warnings in the entire month of May. I think they said this is the 1st or 2nd time that has happened since 1950.

I’m sure many are having the same problem since Dallas/Ft Worth is a hotspot for relocations. All I can say is, stay hydrated and do not overdo it. If you’re feeling like your body is overheating, do not hesitate to go inside. Lastly, (this is something that people often overlook) wearing loose fitting light colored clothes helps A LOT! Tight dark colored clothes absorbs and traps heat making you sweat even more. Which can lead to heat exhaustion and potentially heat stroke. Slowly, you will become more adjusted to it. But I’m not going to say you’ll be completely use to it. I’m a Dallas native and I’m not completely use to the heat...but I can tolerate it more than someone who’s new here. Hopefully, that helps...

It's true, you do get more used to it. But I've never gotten fully used to it.

Give me back my Houston summer with low 90s, humidity, with a few clouds anytime. That sample of your dry 100s, with a blue sky (no clouds) weather I got from Alberto's dry side was terrible! (It's like the samples at Costco were tainted, like spiked punch or drug-laced Halloween candy!)

Southernly winds off the Gulf is contributing to it but the recent rain is making it no better. It is humid in Dallas during the summer but I guess its higher lately because the heat started so early. Remember there’s still some moisture in the soil. The sun is baking the moisture out of the soil, which is adding to the humidity too.

Edit: dew points in the mid 70s isn’t usual. Dew points around 70 degrees is more normal. The weatherman on channel 5 just said “oh my goodness, the dew point is in the mid 70s that Houston dew points”.

A). It rained a lot yesterday.
B). It's not windy.
C). That's kind of it.

I guess. Usually this is how it looks
Dallas 96 feels like 103
Houston 93 feels like 105
