Hello there, I am trying to get my license ASAP. I've looked at there earliest openings but I want to take the test earlier. The earliest is July 16. I noticed on the website that they do walk in but of course scheduled ones get priority. How early do they start do driving tests? Will it even matter if i get the to DMV as early as possible? I would cll them but it's Sunday today. If anything i will call them tomorrow. Thanks for any help given. (Preferred DMV: Plano)

My daughter took her test at All Star in Carrollton with a couple days notice at most. Bit more $$ than DMV but more flexible times.

Wait. Drivers in the Dallas area have been tested?

And they had to pass?

Is this just an eye test?

It is a difficult test. Drivers must demonstrate the ability to cut off other drivers while going 85 mph as well as exiting across 4 lanes of traffic without a turn signal. It takes dexterity and a complete lack of giving a _____ about anyone else.
