Idk man, I'm a 26 year old guy and there are almost always more men in my age group than women at the bars. It's not the worst by any means, Denver or San Jose are worse, but it's no cake walk either.

OP, I would seriously consider a visit to Deep Ellum (east of downtown) on your visit here. There are an increasing number of apartment options and it's currently the liveliest part of town. It went through a rough time a few years back but now it's roaring back to life. Check it out on a weekend.

LOL yeah, me too. Not opposed to going out with a mom in principle or anything, but to be perfectly honest alot of the time there is alot of baggage that comes with that.
