Any $500K+ neighborhood in Plano is very good, none to avoid. From affluence, highway access, shopping/dinning/entertainment, schools and IT job perspective, area feeding to Renner Middle/Shepton High/Plano West Senior High is likely to suit your needs better. Neighborhoods around Gleneagles and Prestonwood Hills golf courses are considered very desirable.

Lol.
$500k won't get you into several of the top 7 neighborhoods.

Weird post.

Oh yeah, that part there by Murphy Road, south of FM 544 is really ghetto. And those ranchettes near San Gabriel and Parker are a blight. The homes north of Plano East Senior High are an eye sore. Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve and Bob Woodruff Park are land fills waiting to happen. ;-)

/Shrug/ Believe what you want. We are doing OK over here on the east side. I'm happy to leave the west side of town for the hoity-toity types.

So, a third of the city should be ignored because there are trailer parks in a small section? West Plano has apartments; isn't that a problem?

Is there any 500k+ neighborhood anywhere in DFW -- or anywhere at all -- that should be avoided?
